Missed appointments

During the month of January 2026 , 57 patients failed to attend for their appointment at the surgery. We would politely ask that should you not be able to attend for your booked appointment, please cancel in advance so that this can be offered to another patient.

Practice closure

The practice will be closed for essential staff training on Thursday 29th January 2026 from 1pm to 6pm. Should you require urgent medical assistance during this time that cannot wait until the next day, please contact the surgery on the usual telephone number and follow the advice given. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Appointment self-booking

The practice has started to contact patients via SMS text message with the option to self-book certain practice appointments by clicking on the self booking link included in the SMS text message. It is hoped that this will be a more convenient way to book appointments for certain practice clinics, without the need to contact us by telephone. We would encourage patients to use this option if possible. If a patient has changed your mobile telephone number, please let us know so that we can update your records. Thank you.

Online ordering

The practice online ordering system is now operational following the introduction of the new computer system.

Repeat prescriptions

From 1st July 2024 we will no longer be accepting repeat prescription orders from local pharmacies on behalf of patients.

Ordering prescriptions

After 31st August 2023 patients will no longer be able to order their repeat prescription via email. The repeat prescription email address will no longer be available after this date.

FAO Female Patients

If you are between the ages of 16 and 64 with symptoms of a lower urinary tract infection (LUTI) you will now be ale to self refer to a local participating pharmacy for advice and treatment without having to speak to a GP.

Cervical Screening

The practice currently has practice nurse appointments available, and we would encourage these patients to avail of the opportunity to make an appointment to have their regular cervical smear test, if it due.
